Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests with check-in/out, answer phones, process reservations, and collect payments in line with company procedures.

The GSR will maintain front desk operations, handle breakfasts setup when needed, ensure safety and security, and promote ESA values while driving guest satisfaction.

Proficiency in English and experience with property management systems are preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Experience with front desk operations and cash handling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out and process reservations.
• Answer phones and handle guest requests using the Make it Right process.
• Process payments and maintain cash, credit card and city ledger records.
• Maintain front desk, lobby, and guest areas per company standards.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and booked rooms.
• Follow safety, security, and key control policies; report issues as required.
• Complete daily front office paperwork.
• Assist with breakfast setup and takedown when required.
• Support housekeeping and other areas as needed.
