Extended Stay America in Lawrence Township, NJ is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer calls, check in/out and collect payments in line with company guidelines.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent guest experiences, resolving issues via the Make it Right process, handling reservations and payments, and keeping the lobby and front desk well organized and clean. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology. Requires the ability to work through all shift reports and perform the audit function when necessary and assigned.
• Understand and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Manage problems, address and solve guest-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check in/out and collect payment.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process with respect.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures.
• Handle cash, credit cards and city ledger accounts.
• Set up, maintain, and take down of breakfast display in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized work area behind front desk, lobby and common areas.
• Sell ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect guest information and identify sales leads.
• Conduct periodic tours to ensure brand standards.
• Provide reasonable accommodation for guest requests when possible.
• Adhere to key control policy and safety reporting.
