Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative in New Jersey. You will assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payments in line with company guidelines. Daily duties include front desk paperwork, safety compliance, and maintaining a welcoming lobby.

You will also promote ESA's services, handle reservations, registrations and departures, and assist with breakfast setup and area cleanliness while ensuring brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to operate front desk PMS and perform audits.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset.
• Ability to handle cash, payments, and guest deposits.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check in/out, and collect payments per guidelines.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures accurately.
• Maintain cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts for the property.
• Promote ESA values and resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process.
• Complete front desk daily paperwork and ensure safety procedures are followed.
