Job summary

Extended Stay America in Lake Forest, CA seeks a Guest Services Representative to greet guests, process check-ins/outs, handle reservations and payments, and maintain front desk operations. The role requires attentiveness to guest needs, accurate cash handling, and adherence to safety procedures.

The GSR will contribute to a welcoming environment, assist with breakfast service, and support housekeeping and security policies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• English proficiency to interact with guests and vendors.
• Ability to operate the property management system (PMS).
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payment per guidelines.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures per procedures.
• Maintain front desk area, breakfast display, and common areas.
• Maintain cash, card, and city ledger accounts.
• Follow safety and security guidelines and report issues.
• Cross-train in housekeeping and laundry as needed.
