Job summary

Extended Stay America seeks a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check-in/out, and handle payments per company policies. The GSR will maintain a clean front desk area and help with breakfast setup while promoting ESA services.

Strong English communication, basic cash handling, and familiarity with the PMS are required. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction and adherence to safety procedures across the property in Rockville, MD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0-3 months related experience or training.
• Able to communicate in English and interact with guests and associates.
• Experience operating a property management system and performing audits.
• Ability to handle cash and payments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest experience and resolve guest requests with follow-through.
• Answer phones and assist guests with check-in and check-out.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts securely.
• Ensure front desk area and public spaces are clean and organized.
• Promote ESA services and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Follow safety, security, and key control policies and report issues.
• Assist with breakfast setup and property tours as needed.
