Job summary

Daly Seven in Wake Forest, NC seeks a Guest Service Agent to be the friendly face welcoming guests and ensuring smooth check-ins/outs. You will be the local expert on area attractions and events, guiding guests with maps and publications. A pivotal role in turning visits into memorable stays.

Responsibilities include accurate reservations, credit card verification, and daily cash handling. You’ll also manage the lobby, breakfast setup, and security coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel brand experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly go up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth, checking them in and out with speed and accuracy.
• Be the go-to expert for local attractions, restaurants, and events, using publications and maps for directions.
• Handle guest complaints with professional care and concern.
• Promote franchise membership club and help guests secure future stays at Daly Seven properties.
• If hotel is full, help guests find lodging via referrals.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling, balance the cash drawer, and balance shift reports.
