Job summary

InTown Suites Metairie is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests efficiently and professionally at the front desk, handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs while the General Manager is away. You will ensure a courteous guest experience and support front office operations.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret reports and internal hotel information.
• Proficient with computer systems and basic math for cash handling.
• Excellent communication skills in English; friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations courteously and accurately.
• Check guests in and out efficiently at the front desk.
• Maintain professional appearance and represent hotel positively.
• Address guest issues promptly and escalate to GM as needed.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Assist property staff and communicate with Regional Operations Manager when GM is absent.
• Handle cash deposits and balance cash drawer.
• Keep desk and office areas clean and organized.
