Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Guest Services Representative in Austin, TX to assist guests efficiently and professionally at the front desk. You will handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest inquiries, while ensuring accurate cash handling and daily front-office duties.

The role requires excellent English, strong computer skills, reliability, and the ability to work long hours. Teamwork, safety awareness, and flexibility are essential as you support the GM and regional operations team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret information from reports.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Mathematical skills to calculate room revenue, occupancy and cash balances.
• General computer proficiency and front office knowledge.
• Ability to perform a variety of front office duties as needed.
• Clear communication and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work long hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment to solve guest and operational problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures reservations are taken correctly and courteously.
• Represent hotel professionally; check guests in and out promptly.
• Maintain front desk operations in GM’s absence.
• Notify GM of any guest, employee or cash concerns.
• Provide guidance to property staff as needed.
• Ensure safety and security standards are followed.
• Keep desk and office areas clean and tidy.
• Travel to other properties within the market as needed.
