Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests efficiently and courteously at the front desk. You will cover front office duties when the General Manager is away, ensuring smooth check-in/out and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling reservations, managing cash deposits in GM's absence, resolving guest issues professionally, and maintaining a clean, safe front office environment across properties in the market.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Ability to read, understand, interpret information in reports and hotel information.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate revenue, occupancy, and balance cash.
• General computer proficiency and front office operations knowledge.
• Ability to work long hours and manage multiple tasks in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations courteously and accurately.
• Check guests in and out in a timely, professional manner.
• Proficiently use computer systems for front desk tasks.
• Address guest issues professionally and escalate to GM when needed.
• Ensure safety and security standards are followed in the lobby and office.
• Handle bank deposits in GM’s absence and report concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and office area.
