Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Reno is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to greet guests, manage check-ins, and provide outstanding service at the front desk. You will reviews arrival lists, assist VIP guests, handle phone inquiries, and ensure smooth cash handling processes with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in front desk operations, strong communication skills, basic computer literacy, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in Front Desk Operations
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations
• Minimum of High School education

Responsibilities

• Greets guests on arrival with personal recognition
• Reviews arrival lists daily and prepares welcome amenities
• Escort VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival
• Answers telephone promptly with a smile and directs calls as needed
• Maintains front desk cash handling procedures and reports over/shorts
• Keeps front desk area clean and organized
• Assists with lobby activation as needed
• Handles guest PPI data securely
• Retrieves necessary IDs and payment methods during check-in/out
• Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
