Job summary

Residence Inn Morgan Hill, managed by Highgate Hotels, seeks a Guest Service Agent to ensure courteous, efficient check-in/check-out and guest assistance while maximizing occupancy and revenue. You will greet guests, answer questions, handle packages, and maintain front desk operations with a warm, professional approach.

The role requires strong communication, computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• College course work in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk.
• Maintain operation of the PBX console and standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare closing shift paperwork per hotel standards.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
• Operate the Front Desk computer system proficiently.
