Residence Inn is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service to guests from pre-arrival through their stay. You will manage check-ins/outs, respond to guest requests, and communicate hotel services and area information. The role requires familiarity with the front desk system, cash handling, and a professional, friendly demeanor.

Hours include weekends/holidays. A high school diploma is required and hospitality experience is preferred; fluency in English is essential to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A degree with emphasis in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management and/or related fields preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures and general administrative tasks.
• Must assimilate complex information and data from disparate sources and adjust to needs.
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipation and solving.

Responsabilités

• Provide attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Respond to all guests’ requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the front desk or through reservations.
• Answer all guest inquiries (i.e hotel services and amenities, the area, etc.).
• Ensure delivery of packages, mail and messages as needed to guests.
• Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions.
• Be familiar with all in house groups.
• Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow rate quoting guidelines.
• Fully understand and operate the front desk computer system.
• Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with hotel staff.
