Job summary

Candlewood Suites Cincinnati Mason, Ohio is seeking an enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Attendant who will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-in to check-out with a guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking reservations, answering questions about services, balancing cash, operating the front desk switchboard, and supporting a smooth, welcoming experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong guest-focused customer service skills.
• Proficiency with internet software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and manage the registration process.
• Take reservations by telephone, through emails and in person.
• Answer queries regarding hotel services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities, and directions.
• Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the next shift.
• Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls.
