Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Front Office Agent to provide attentive service during check-in, stay, and checkout at Residence Inn Deptford. You will balance guest needs with room revenue, assist with reservations, and maintain a courteous, professional demeanor throughout shifts.

The ideal candidate has prior hotel front desk experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and employees.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of all rates, packages and special promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups and room rates.
• Be aware of closed out and restricted dates and quote correct rates.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
