Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is hiring a Guest Service Representative in Bakersfield, CA. You will warmly greet guests, explain cake options, and aid celebrations with balloons, candles and cards while guiding orders through the POS system.

You will ensure clean displays, assist with decorations, and follow health, safety, and dress code policies, while maintaining reliable attendance in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
• Guest service experience at bakery/retail is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone guests warmly to assess needs and interests.
• Educate guests on cake options, sizes, flavors, and pricing.
• Suggest balloons, candles and cards for celebrations.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and invite emails sign-up.
• Maintain clean bakery presentation and replenished display case.
• Assist in cake decorations and packaging supplies when needed.
• Adhere to health, safety guidelines, dress code and hygiene standards.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
