Job summary

Extended Stay America, Inc. in Fremont, CA seeks a Guest Services Representative to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will manage front desk operations, reservations, check-ins/outs, and payments while upholding ESA guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology and ability to audit shift reports.
• Understand and comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Resolve guest-related issues through appropriate procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in/out, and collect payment per guidelines.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and maintain safety and security procedures.
• Resolve guest requests with timely follow-through and Make it Right process.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per procedures.
• Maintain cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts.
• Assist with breakfast setup and breakdown and keep front desk area organized.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect guest information and identify sales opportunities.
• Conduct periodic property tours to ensure brand standards.
