Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, answer calls, and process payments. You will ensure front desk tasks and breakfast setup are performed with attention to safety and brand standards.

You will resolve guest requests through ESA’s Make it Right philosophy, maintain cash and city ledger accuracy, and promote the value of ESA to convert inquiries into reservations. A strong team culture and flexible hours are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and operate front desk systems.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and complete routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check in/out and collect payment.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and follow safety procedures.
• Resolve guest issues using the Make it Right process.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures per company guidelines.
• Handle collections of in-house balances and maintain cash/credit card accounts.
• Set up and break down breakfast display in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized front desk and lobby areas per standards.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries to reservations.
• Collect guest information, probe for sales leads and identify opportunities.
• Conduct periodic property tours to ensure brand standards.
• Provide reasonable accommodations for guest requests when possible.
• Adhere to key control and safety reporting policies.
