Job summary

Extended Stay America seeks a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer calls, and manage check-ins/outs at our Miami location. You will process payments, maintain front desk areas, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

duties include handling reservations, cash management, breakfast setup, and promoting ESA services to convert inquiries into reservations, with emphasis on guest satisfaction and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology and ability to audit shift reports.
• Understand and comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic for all units of measure.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Manage problems and resolve guest-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payment in accordance with procedures.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.
• Handle cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts.
• Maintain breakfast display and keep front desk and lobby areas organized.
• Sell ESA value to inquiries and convert them into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect relevant guest information and identify sales opportunities.
• Ensure property meets brand standards and provide accommodations as needed.
