Job summary

Extended Stay America in California seeks a friendly Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payments in line with company guidelines.

You will maintain front desk paperwork, uphold safety standards, and promote ESA’s service culture while delivering a warm, efficient guest experience across shifts.

Strong communication, cash handling, and multitasking skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience in hospitality front desk or guest services is preferred.
• Ability to operate a property management system and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in/check-out and inquiries.
• Answer phones and direct calls to proper departments.
• Process reservations, registrations, and departures following company procedures.
• Handle cash, credit card, and city ledger payments accurately.
• Maintain front desk and lobby areas in accordance with standards.
• Promote ESA services and convert inquiries to bookings.
