Job summary

The American Hotel Atlanta, part of Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC, is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join the Front Desk team in downtown Atlanta. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and events.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, cash handling, and guest satisfaction, with opportunities to upsell and support daily operations at a vibrant downtown property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3–12 months of employment in a related guest relations position.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest registration and check-in/check-out processes.
• Provide quotes for room rates and up-sell where possible.
• Assist guests with inquiries about hotel services, local attractions and events.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Desk to manage room status and special requests.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and balance at shift end.
• Answer phones and assist callers with information.
