Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Independence, KY is seeking a Shift Leader to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and lead daily operations on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts. The role reports to the Store Manager and offers full-time hours (37-40 per week) with a pay range of $13.50–$15.25 per hour.

You will supervise service, handle POS and gas transactions, maintain clean, stocked departments, and ensure compliance with all policies.

Qualifications

Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
Ability to operate the POS terminal and gas console and to use the price book.
Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions and to make change accurately.
Must be able to lift and move items as required by store operations.
Must be legally qualified under state laws to conduct alcohol and tobacco sales.

Responsibilities

Provide the signature Hi Five Guest Experience and ensure guests leave satisfied.
Prepare DipSide items and ice cream/yogurt products for guests.
Efficiently operate POS system and gas console, handling transactions.
Stock shelves, coolers, and maintain clean, presentable store areas.
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Accurately complete time records and relevant documents.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
