Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a guest service associate to anticipate guest needs, process check-ins/outs, and assist guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional and timely manner.

You will help maximize room revenues through up-selling, follow cash handling procedures, and work as part of a team to support hotel operations while upholding the group's high standards of quality and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years prior guest service experience required preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent verbal communication skills needed.
• Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

• Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests.
• Assist guests by knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
• Work as a team player, meeting guests' needs and supporting other departments when necessary.
• Follow guest service recovery procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
