Terrain Cafe in Wayland, MA is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to lead hourly teams, oversee floor operations, and ensure top-tier hospitality. The role combines guest experience leadership with administrative duties including payroll, scheduling, and purchasing to support sales targets.

You will manage labor and controllables within the annual budget, perform end-of-period payroll audits, and drive a strong, collaborative team culture across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years restaurant management experience.
• 1 year of relative administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with restaurant technical applications, including POS & OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor shifts with high energy and adherence to standards.
• Complete daily tip calculations and timecard corrections via POS payroll system.
• Monitor stock levels and submit precise purchasing orders.
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and psychological safety.
