Job summary

URBN is opening Terrain Cafe in Wayland, MA, and seeks a hands-on Management lead to supervise hourly teams and floor operations, supporting payroll, scheduling, recruitment, and purchasing to safeguard brand standards and drive sales.

The role emphasizes guest experience, operational leadership, payroll accuracy, inventory control, safety, and people development. Expect 45–55 hours weekly, with nights, weekends, and holidays as required, in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years restaurant management experience.
• 1 year of relative administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with restaurant technical applications, including POS & OpenTable.
• Experience contributing opening new restaurant location a plus.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend and stoop.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor shifts with high energy and ensure opening/closing standards.
• Manage labor and spending aligned with yearly budget; monitor hours and productivity.
• Complete daily tip calculations and timecard corrections through POS payroll system.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to meet purchasing pars.
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards; ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Resolve operational hiccups quickly to maintain guest experience.
