Job summary

Glowbar is seeking a Studio Guide in Jersey City, NJ. You will own the front desk, welcome clients, drive membership sales, and ensure a seamless visit from start to finish. This is a sales-driven role with a strong emphasis on customer service and a pristine studio environment.

The position offers uncapped commissions, comprehensive benefits, and flexible full-time or part-time schedules, with weekend availability required for peak hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hospitality experience and/or sales experience with a proven track record of superior client service and meeting/exceeding sales goals
• Genuine passion for people, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences
• Confidence in sales conversations, comfort with commission-based earning, and a strong drive to meet and exceed membership sales targets
• Demonstrated ability to close sales, handle objections, and convert prospects into loyal, recurring members
• A warm, professional presence and a hospitality-first mindset
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Full-Time: 5-day open availability, including both weekend days
• Part-Time: 3-day open availability, including one weekend day
• Weekend Only: Saturday & Sunday every week
• Enthusiasm for beauty, skincare, and a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Welcome every client with warmth and energy, making each person feel like the most important guest in the room
• Drive membership and package sales by connecting clients to the Glowbar experience and the results it delivers
• Lock in rebooking and next appointments post-service, and manage the waitlist to keep the schedule optimized
• Be the voice of the studio: handle client communication via phone, email, and text with professionalism
• Share product knowledge and at-home routine suggestions to support the client’s skincare journey, upselling and cross-selling retail products
• Track and report on personal sales performance, conversion rates, and membership metrics, using feedback to improve close rates
• Keep the studio spotless, organized, and client-ready from front desk to back of house
• Share observations with management to improve client experience and team performance
• Be the Glowbar ambassador in personality, presentation standards, and education
