Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader who will uphold safe, high-quality food standards while ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role trains and supports the restaurant crew, maintains a clean line, and coordinates breaks and shifts.

The ideal candidate has restaurant experience, strong cash handling knowledge, and a solid understanding of food safety regulations. Responsibilities include staff development, cross-training, and assisting with front-of-house operations

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; ensure the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service.
• Keep a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment.
• On busy shifts, evaluate what tasks need to be completed and assist others with those tasks.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews and with developing future Service Leaders.
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and office paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as needed.
