Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Service Leader to sustain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food and well-trained staff.

This role keeps the line clean, maintains equipment, and steps in on breaks when needed to keep the operation running smoothly. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, restaurant and cash-handling experience, and a solid understanding of food safety laws.

Qualifications

• Have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiar with office paperwork and filing processes.
• Ability to speak, write, read and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety practices including hand washing, gloves, time/temperature monitoring, and Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence.
• Assist with resolving customer incidents and ensuring positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and development of future leaders.
• Handle miscellaneous office duties and ensure supplies and equipment are well maintained.
