Job summary

Cumberland Farms, Inc. in East Providence, RI, is seeking a Guest Service Leader to support store operations and lead by example in guest service excellence. You will greet guests, coach team members, keep the store in stock and clean, and help run day-to-day operations with the Store Manager in their absence.

The role offers both part-time and full-time hours, with a focus on delivering a fast, friendly guest experience and contributing to community store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: N/A
• Preferred Education: High School or GED
• Minimum Experience: 6 months in Guest Service/retail
• Preferred Experience: 6-12 months retail, guest service or restaurant
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly to welcome and assist them
• Process guest transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain clean, organized store areas including coffee station and restrooms
• Monitor shelf stock and ensure 100% in-stock where possible
• Assist Store Manager in reports, ordering, and banking during absences
• Train and coach team members to uphold service standards
• Support food safety practices in food service areas
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or in charge
