Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a energetic guest-focused team member for a leadership-friendly role in our Rhode Island stores. You will help manage the location’s food business, ensure quality, safety and fast service, and coach teammates on food safety and presentation to delight guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Minimum experience: 6 months retail or food experience.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in retail, service or restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.
• Manage food stock levels, food costs and waste, preparation, presentation, and food safety requirements for hot and cold prepared food and beverage items.
• Oversee the food service area’s cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of equipment.
• Meet Company goals for food sales (e.g. pizza, breakfast sandwiches, coffee).
• Provide training, feedback, coaching and direction to fellow team members on food preparation and safety.
