Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a high-energy Guest Service Leader to support store operations and coach team members in delivering outstanding guest service. You will greet guests, process transactions, keep the store clean and stocked, and assist the Store Manager with daily duties, including onboarding new team members and leading by example.

This role offers both part-time and full-time hours, with scheduling flexibility to cover day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or retail preferred.
• 6-12 months retail, guest service or restaurant experience.
• ServSafe certification a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work varying hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated and invite them to return at a later date.
• Process guest transactions in an efficient and friendly manner to minimize guest wait time.
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of both the inside and outside of the store, including coffee station, food service area, and restrooms.
• Monitor and replenish product on the sales floor, rotating stock and keeping levels full to achieve 100% in-stock.
• In Store Manager’s absence, complete Manager’s reports, product ordering and banking as needed.
• Lead by example in execution of Company values, programs and policies; provide training and coaching to team members.
• In food service stores, assist with food preparation and food safety to provide a consistent guest experience.
• Ensure safety as a priority for guests and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or acting in their absence.
