Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Experience Manager who will lead a multi-disciplinary team of stylists, estheticians, guest coordinators, and managers to deliver outstanding guest experiences and achieve top-line growth.

In this role you will drive NPS, coach staff, manage schedules and payroll, and ensure adherence to brand standards while building a culture of teamwork and professional development across the store.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Cosmetology license and/or a cosmetology management license where required by state law.
• 2-3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management work experience or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: success with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Cosmetology management: Advanced competency in services, including sales, guest experience, and product attachment; demonstrated knowledge of Board of Cosmetology regulations and hiring requirements.
• Retail management: proven ability with monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandise directives.
• Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change and leading others through the change-curve, developing collaborative relationships with others, and leading and influencing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead through Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and values to develop a high-performing team delivering top-line sales growth in retail and services.
• Oversee guest experience, including makeup, skincare, and services, and drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvements.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop salon and boutique talent; foster a collaborative store culture.
• Ensure compliance with store procedures, policies, safety, and loss prevention; manage scheduling and payroll in support of store goals.
• Drive performance by analyzing data, managing budgets, and executing brand initiatives across services, boutiques, and retail.
