Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic store leader to oversee daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise crew, train on the BEST customer service experience, and ensure fast, friendly checkouts while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include leading front-end operations, achieving service score goals, opening/closing duties, merchandising, stockroom upkeep, and supporting the store manager in recruiting and coaching staff.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Responsibilities

• Wows the Customer through personal contact with customers. Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Leading their assigned store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals provided by the District Manager.
• Leading front end operations, ensuring front end merchandising (candy, soda, snacks) are set and meet or exceed brand standards; ensuring all front-end equipment is in working order and associates are trained.
• Opening and closing procedures, maintaining store cleanliness, recovery, and keeping the store ready for customers at all times.
• Performing store manager duties in their absence.
• Recruiting, training, coaching, developing and supervising all crew members.
• Reviewing all corporate communications and reacting accordingly.
• Partnering with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performing store maintenance including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock room
