Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager-in-Training position to lead a Bowie, MD area store. The role focuses on delivering WOW customer service, front-end operations, and merchandising that meets brand standards.

You will recruit and coach crew, manage openings and closings, and ensure a safe, clean store environment. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• College experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew delivers the WOW customer experience with fast, friendly checkout.
• Lead store to achieve customer service score goals.
• Oversee front-end operations and merchandising to brand standards.
• Manage opening and closing procedures and store cleanliness.
• Act as store manager in absence of the manager.
• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise crew members.
• Review corporate communications and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
