Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable leader to help wow customers and oversee daily store operations. As Manager on Duty, you’ll train crew, help with stock, and ensure fast, friendly checkout.

This hourly role requires flexibility for day/evening/weekend shifts, physical work with lifting up to 25 lbs, and a strong focus on customer service and teamwork. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of management experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on customer service to ensure fast, friendly checkouts.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to maintain service quality.
• Assists with receiving and stocking to keep shelves ready for sale.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Opens/closes the store and secures cash and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborates with leadership on merchandising and store processes.
• Performs store maintenance as needed.
