Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a First Assistant Manager to lead guest services and support the Store Manager in delivering The Hi Five Guest Experience. You will supervise associates, ensure accurate transactions, and maintain store conditions to meet safety standards.

This role requires legal qualification to perform alcohol and tobacco sales, strong coaching, and a commitment to safe, friendly service during all shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
• Strong guest service skills and ability to coach shift leaders and associates.
• Ability to screen applicants and participate in interviews.
• Able to operate POS and gas console and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise associates, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience, and assist with interviews.
• Oversee store administration: ordering, reports, transfers, and paperwork.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.
• Operate DipSide items preparation and ensure proper stock rotation and presentation.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, POS, gas transactions, and register drops.
• Monitor security, loss prevention, and adherence to policies and laws.
