Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Powell, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, and maintain store conditions while complying with company policies and state laws on alcohol and tobacco sales.

The role requires effective leadership, attendance at shifts, handling transactions, coaching teams, and ensuring excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Managing other Associates, including assigning/monitoring duties, coaching The Hi Five Guest Experience, and training Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Store Administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports review, product transfers, paperwork as directed by Store Manager or District Supervisor.
• Overall Guest Services: delivering the signature Hi Five Guest Experience and ensuring guests are greeted warmly and that the store is prepared for guests at all times.
• DipSide Guest Services: preparing shakes, sundaes, and related items.
• POS System and Gas Console operation: handling transactions, cash handling, and credit card processing with accuracy.
• Stocking Merchandise: keeping shelves, displays, freezers, and dip cabinet presentable and rotated correctly.
• Security: monitoring guests, controlling cash, and following tobacco/alcohol management procedures.
• Maintenance: keeping store and parking lot clean and safe; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Reporting: accurate time records and the Customer First Document.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
