Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding is hiring an Assistant Manager in Cincinnati to lead shifts, supervise a team, and ensure top-notch guest service. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, procedures, and brand standards while driving sales and smooth store operations.

The Assistant Manager will train staff, manage daily tasks, and maintain excellent store conditions, including accurate cash handling and POS operation, in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a retail or casual dining setting.
• Ability to train and coach staff on guest experience.
• Knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates: assign duties, coach Hi Five Guest Experience, and screen applicants.
• Oversee store administration: ordering, weekly reports, product transfers, paperwork.
• Deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience with warm, authentic greetings and proactive guest care.
• Prepare DipSide items and maintain dip cabinets, ice cream and beverage stations.
• Operate POS system and gas console accurately, handle transactions and cash controls.
• Keep shelves, displays, and equipment clean, stocked and in good condition.
• Maintain store security and proper cash drop procedures; follow tobacco/alcohol handling policies.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of store and parking lot; monitor temperatures of refrigeration.
