Job summary

Phoenix Airport Hampton Inn is seeking a front desk supervisor to ensure proper staffing, guest service, and smooth operations at the front desk. You will interview, hire, train, and schedule front office staff, while maintaining MICROS system proficiency for daily transactions.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Housekeeping and Engineering on room status and maintenance requests, and greeting guests with professional service during check-in and check-out.

Qualifications

• Ability to calmly work with high demand and/or upset guests.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
• Physical requirements for an in-office role including standing, lifting 10–25 pounds, and keyboard use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing levels for front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training and scheduling front desk staff.
• Maintain proficiency with the MICROS system for daily transactions and reporting.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering regarding guest rooms and maintenance requests.
• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out professionally and efficiently, answering questions and assisting needs.
