Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Guest Coordinator to engage with guests and promote salon services through phone and in-person interactions. You will support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager, helping drive service and retail sales, guest loyalty, and events while maintaining a welcoming, professional store environment.

The role emphasizes knowledge of salon services, product recommendations, and seamless guest experiences, with a strong focus on attendance, teamwork, and adherence

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system, Apple devices, Services Booking System)
• Demonstrate significant competency in sales, products, and service
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, retail shrink, and omni-channel sales.
• Provide exceptional guest service by acknowledging all Ulta Beauty guests in the Salon, Haircare, and Skincare areas and offering friendly, prompt service.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds and exchanges.
• Support the services team by answering salon phone calls, addressing guest concerns, managing the services booking system, guest records and salon traffic flow.
• Build the services business by informing guests of current promotions and events and confidently inviting them to try services.
• Influence and support service providers in daily appointment pages, rebooking, and new guest acquisition behaviors.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
