Job summary

Global Partners LP in Massachusetts seeks a Guest Service Supervisor to lead staff, ensure a positive guest experience, and oversee daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will coach associates, manage cash at the POS, monitor safety and cleanliness, greet guests, resolve inquiries, and support management in achieving sales and service goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees by ensuring they perform all duties assigned by management.
• Coach employees by giving constructive feedback to help perform tasks.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels.
• Ensure all store housekeeping functions are completed (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash).
• Ensure 24/7 execution of all guest service programs and processes.
• Responsible for all cash processes including deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
• Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Address inquiries and complaints from guests.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
