Job summary

Five Below is seeking a dynamic leader to help wow customers and oversee daily store operations. You will train crew on excellent service, manage opening/closing duties, and drive sales while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and stock management.

Requirements include at least a high school diploma, 1+ year of management experience, and strong communication. This hourly role offers growth and a fast-paced, energetic work environment at Five Below locations across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manage opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily prep for operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and store recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and organizing stock room.
