Job summary

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection, a luxury resort in Napa Valley, seeks a friendly Restaurant Host to welcome guests from arrival to departure and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. You will greet guests, assist with check-ins, answer reservations, coordinate with pool and dining staff, and help ensure a seamless dining experience in a refined setting.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong English communication, and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler's Card required (within 30 days)
• RBS Training required (within 30 days)
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and the ability to speak and write in English fluently
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and handle check-ins and seating
• Answer phones, take reservations, take in-room dining orders, and maintain records in reservation systems
• Coordinate with restaurant/pool staff to optimize guest placements and avoid overbooking
• Prepare station charts, assign stations, and guide staff in table setup
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
• Monitor and update guest profiles and VIP arrivals in reservation systems
• Ensure menus and wine lists are updated and stocked
• Resolve guest complaints promptly
• Familiarize with hotel services and local attractions to answer inquiries
• Collaborate with F&B management to set a positive restaurant tone
