Job summary

Mohegan Sun Hospitality is seeking a host to guide guests to tables and assist with reservations in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with guests, staff, and supervisors to ensure gracious hospitality and smooth operations at the front desk.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing procedures, maintaining presentation standards, and reporting any breakage or issues to management. A background in hospitality and prior host experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience.
• Previous host experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests to appropriate tables as directed by the maître d’ and maintain guest flow.
• Interact with restaurant guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a courteous manner.
• Assist with reservations, incoming calls, and questions from guests.
• Support front desk setup, side-work, and opening/closing procedures.
• Report breakage or damage to management and participate in pre-service meetings.
