Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a host/hostess to take reservations, welcome guests, seat them, and present menus per department procedures. You will coordinate seating, track table status, and handle guest inquiries while promoting venue events and VIP bookings.

Strong communication and multitasking are essential. Successful candidates will have guest service experience and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, plus familiarity with NightPro and OpenTable systems.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Makes reservations via the NightPro and OpenTable systems.
• Coordinates all guest seating in accordance with front of house operations.
• Observes tables and tracks clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes accurate wait times and minimums.
• Promotes upcoming venue events and reaches out to VIP guests and regular clients to make reservations.
