Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.
• Assign duties to staff for efficient operation of the department.
• Assist in training new associates and cross-training existing staff.
• Interview and hire new associates for the department.
• Promote teamwork and associate morale; treat people with respect.
• Be familiar with safety procedures and Emergency Response Team involvement.
• Monitor room status, rates, and packages; manage VIP arrivals.
• Pre-register guests and manage employee schedules.
• Notify Maintenance of issues and ensure readiness for check-in.
• Handle guest issues professionally and uphold EEO and Fair Labor Standards Act.
