Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Hospitality Specialist to deliver warm, guest-friendly service and coordinate front desk operations, including check-in/out, balance collection, reservations, and guest inquiries.

You will collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction, respond to online reviews, and support maintenance and inventory tasks while upholding the company’s commitment to an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
• Computer skills, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Efficient and courteous front desk operations.
• Check-in/out, collect balances, post room charges, make reservations, handle room moves and stay-over requests; verify OTA bookings and run reports.
• Answer calls with proper etiquette and assist guests with local restaurant and attraction recommendations.
• Make courtesy and follow-up calls to address guest issues; send confirmations to owners/guests; notify owners about villa rental status.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Process all incoming revenue; balance cash drawer; post deposits and perform banking runs.
• Manage inventory and office supplies; prepare check-in packets for the upcoming period.
• Enter maintenance requests in SPI; manage RCI points, banking and memberships.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
