Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Hospitality Specialist to deliver exceptional guest services, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive support throughout guests' stay. You will manage front desk duties, reservations, billing, and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes courteous customer interactions, accuracy in processing payments, and proactive follow-up to guest needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Computer skills, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient and courteous operations of the front desk.
• Check guests in/out, collect balances, post room charges, make reservations, and handle room moves and stay-overs as needed.
• Answer guest questions about local restaurants and attractions.
• Make courtesy calls and follow-ups to resolve guest issues and notify owners on rentals.
• Coordinate with other departments to respond to guest requests.
• Process incoming revenue, balance cash drawers, and perform daily posts and banking runs.
• Enter maintenance and service requests in SPI promptly.
