Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Montgomery, AL is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, handle check-in/out, and upsell revenue opportunities.

You will maintain brand standards, provide information on rooms and amenities, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience. Previous hotel front desk experience and strong English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Six months related experience in hotels or customer service training preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete registration, input guest details, and process payments.
• Provide information about hotel rooms, rates, and amenities.
• Upsell services to generate additional revenue and promote loyalty programs.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for check-in/out.
• Respond to guest complaints professionally and escalate as needed.
