Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions. You will upsell services to improve occupancy and revenue while maintaining security and brand standards.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Prior hotel front desk experience and English proficiency are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required. Some college preferred.
• Previous experience as a hotel Front Desk Agent is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and maintain professional appearance.
• Provide information about hotel, rooms, rates and amenities.
• Process check-ins/outs, input guest data and payment methods accurately.
• Perform upselling and other marketing duties to generate revenue.
• Handle payments, balance cash, and follow established procedures.
• Respond to guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in and check-out times.
