Job summary

Courtyard Newport News Airport is seeking a Front Desk Agent to ensure guests have a friendly arrival and departure experience. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, share hotel information, and assist with requests in a timely, hospitable manner.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, a can-do attitude, and strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to follow guidelines and procedures.
• Capable of handling pace and pressure.
• Effective listening and conflict resolution.
• Clear communication skills.
• Desire to serve guests.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Punctual clock-in/clock-out; never work off the clock.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in/out efficiently.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, rates and promotions.
• Receive and route mail as required per shift checklist.
• Maintain clean, organized front desk area and assist guests as needed.
